The Work

Farming Practices

Our farming philosophy prioritizes balance, vine health, and the distinct character of this site.

Every practice on this estate serves a single purpose: to grow fruit that fully expresses its place and its season. There are no shortcuts.

Our Practices

Seasonal Rhythm

A year in the vineyard

Winter

December – February

Dormancy and pruning. The quiet season where next year's quality is determined, one cut at a time.

Spring

March – May

Budbreak and shoot growth. Vigilant frost protection and the first canopy work of the season.

Summer

June – August

Flowering, fruit set, and veraison. Intensive canopy management and cluster thinning for concentration.

Harvest

September – October

Hand-picking at optimal ripeness. Daily decisions driven by taste, balance, and instinct.

Dormancy

November

Post-harvest rest. The vineyard prepares for winter while we assess the season and plan ahead.

Because excellence compounds.
